Growing up on an island, the sea has always been my playground. I cant remember a time when I haven't wanted to kayak, but it wasnt until aged 9 that I made my first strokes. Despite going in circles, I was instantly hooked and have since strived to push myself in many disciplines of the sport. Aged 16 I represented Guernsey at Canoe Polo and at about the same time, I began instructing and river paddling. I am passionate about all disciplines but it is the ocean that draws me the most. I have done a number of sea kayak expeditions around my home waters and the coast of France. 3 years ago, I discovered the realm of composite surf kayaks and havent looked back since!
